Show Rules

1) Open class / All variety

2) Limited to 5 entries per person and each entry fee will be $5.00 CDN.

3) If you are bringing fish to the show, please pre-register & RSVP your tank space at

4) Anyone is eligible to enter fish into the show and all entries and payment must be made on     https://www.thegoldfishcouncil.org/event-details/canadian-goldfish-symposium-ii

5) Fish can be purchased at the event and entered into the show, providing that the registration information, entry fee(s) is submitted and paid prior to 12:00 PM EST.

6) Provisions will be made for the well being of fish. However, The Goldfish Council and

The Fish Sempai accepts no responsibilities for losses or damages sustained during the show

7) Fish which display any diseases, parasites & visible injuries may not be allowed to enter the show

8) The show will be judged by a certified Judge and/or apprentice judges from The Goldfish Council.

Their decisions will be final and not subject to appeal at the show

9) No one other than the judges and authorized staff shall be in the show area while the fish are being

judged. Observers and entrants are to refrain from any communication with the judges

10) In any case of dispute the Show Chair’s decision will be final and binding

11) Any contingencies not covered by these rules will be subject to the discretion of the Show Chair.
