Morning all, here in the Midwest it is going to be 57F today and sunny, get outside! Look at your pond, remove some leaves!
Our Nitrate study group is about ready to launch, we still have some seats available. Thought I might share a couple of shots of one of my two study tanks. This 125 gallon is full of Broadtail Ryukiis and Rainbows and live plants (three pictures below). Quit Guessing!. It has been set up for eight years and has gravel. The gravel is pea gravel and instead of having silt like fish poo, it has these little brown balls of humus. See below;
I am looking and deciding on my second tank to study. Should I do a Ranchu tub that gets water changed twice a week, or a tub with moss growing on it?
I got a note via IM yesterday which said ” my second tank is just been set up as a quarantine tank, would have liked to participate”in the study. I explained, that we desire any and all tanks, when you are dosing in meds, do you ever get nitrification and formation of nitrates? Every is mostly guessing. So my point is simple; JOIN US, FILL UP THE STUDY! HELP YOUR FISH AND THE HOBBY IN GENERAL.
Have a great week!
